    Seems to be unusable: When I load VEPro it goes into scanning mode and never comes out of it. I've tried re-installing EO but it's just the same. What is going on?

    I think that with the amount of details you've given about your system and whether or not you have used VE or even VI before means that it is almost impossible to help you.

    Start with computer specs, then OS and then what you did regarding installing.

    Apologies for the lack of details but I have, in the meantime, solved the problem. I discovered that I had to run EO in standalone version first and then it loaded up fine in VEP. This may have something to do with the fact that I'm new to VI and assumed it would work straight after installation. Thanks anyway!

    the issue might be related to having the host open (or related processes running) during installing of EO - so some nifty caching feature tricked VE ...
