Hi!

The October student discount sounds great. Unfortunately I find the announcement to be quite cryptic and it doesn't seem to include much needed informations:

1) Does this discount apply only to Austrians? Or citizens of the EU? Or is it worldwide?

2) How about people like me who are citizens of a country but study abroad (e.g. I live in Austria, but study in another european country)?

3) What kind of students are eligible for the discount? All students or only those who study something that has to do with music? My guess is that all students are eligible (which makes sense, as it would generate a larger group of customers), but clarification would be nice.

4) What kind of license is the reduced license that an eligible student buys during this sale? A full one, or an educational one ("not for profit") which needs to be upgraded later?

Arrr, I had more questions but  I guess I am too tired to remember.... Big Smile Some official answers would be highly appreciated! Thanks for taking the time!

Greetings from Vienna!

Hi musicpete,

here are some answers:

1) worldwide.

2) no problem.

3) all students

4) it´s a normal license like any other. You are fully elligible to upgrade.

Best,

Paul

Hello again!

I sent the same question to VSL sales two days ago but didn't get any answer yet (which is unusual for VSL.... Wink ). So i'll ask them here, too:

1) Is it possible to combine boxed, download products and "level 2" licenses when taking advantage of the sale? E.g. Apassionata 1 + Vienna Suite?

2) How often is one person eligible for taking advantage of the student discount? E.g.: I could afford one library now and maybe the extended library at the end of the month (the latter is not 100% yet). I would have to make 2 purchases. Is that possible?

Hi Pete,

DVD products (which are shipped through our distributors) and a dowmload products like Vienna Suite cannot be combined in one order. But it's no problem if you place two separate orders. And of course you can place as many orders you like through October 31st to recieve your student discounts.

best

Herb

The answer to this question was given a few weeks ago, in this thread: -> http://community.vsl.co.at/foru...22662/154504.aspx#154504

... you have to scroll down to the bottom of the first page, though (if you ever get that far).  Party!!!

Cool
