  • Neutral state of ATK and REL

    Perform Control: ATK and REL

what is their neutral value, so that a sample is not altered?

  • as far as *i* am aware, their default settings (which are "50") is the natural un-altered values. Longer attacks & releases, value goes up (to 100) and shorter goes down (to 0).

Someone correct me if i am wrong.

However, in my experience there are some articulations on which certain values night have no effect; for example, on a Staccato Short or Pizzicato, whose attack is already instantaneous, im unable to hear any effect if you bring the value DOWN. Meaning, its default setting at 50 is already nearly instantaneous, due to the nature of those quick-attacked articulations. So you cant really shorten them, as they are already as short as possible..
