    Hi. I just purchased Special Edition and I am having problems to make it work. It is my first time using VSL instruments. I installed everything (4 DVDs) but all I can see is a folder called "100 Special Edition" with lots of .dat files, named SpecialEdition___.dat When I open Vienna Instruments it does not recognize any library installed, but if I go to the Manager, the appropriate folder is selected, so it was supposed to work fine. I do not know what to do anymore! If somebody can help me I would really appreciate that. I am quite disappointed so far. Thanks

    Hi and welcome otaviosantos [:)],

    the dat files are fine, that´s how the data is organized with our VI Collections.

    Please try the following:

    First of all, make sure you are using the latest eLCC software and VSL Software.

    Then launch your Directory Manager, remove all folders and add the right folders again via drag and drop from your Finder/Eplorer).

    This should show the Sample Content in your Vienna instruments just fine.

    Hi, I am experiencing the exact same problem. The directory installer finds my folders just fine and there is a couple of .dat files in there but the plugin doesn't load it. I've removed the folder and dragged it in, just like you said, but there is no difference. Please help!
