    I downloaded the demo before committing to buying the full version. I call today a completely wasted day -- I tried setting up a full template with VEP hosting on the master computer (internal). When I record MIDI through one instance, it plays back fine. When I record MIDI through a separate instance in Logic, the first instance's tracks will not play back. Only when I select and highlight the track in Logic will it playback. I get a big BLOCK of MIDI notes first. It also crashed when I was about to reach the 32-bit RAM limit (around 2.5 GB). So, not usable with my setup (Mac Pro 2.26 x 8, 12 GB RAM). I guess one has to buy a second Mac or PC to get this to work.

    You should set Logic's "process buffer range" setting to Medium in its preferences.

    Thanks. What would be the optimum multiprocessor core setting per instance? I have four instances with an 8-core Mac Pro.

    2 threads per instance should be fine.

    Thank you. The process switch to Medium changed everything. Though, there is a slight lag with my system.
