  • Can't find/use Vienna Imperial within Vienna Ensemble Pro... help!

Hello all...  I've just installed Vienna Imperial, which seems to be working as expected in stand-alone mode.  I am also very happily able to use Vienna Ensemble Pro to run all of my other Vienna Instruments.  However, I can't seem to figure out how to get Imperial to load within Vienna Ensemble Pro (the current public beta) or even within my older copy of Vienna Ensemble (v3).  I simply don't see it anywhere inside the VE Pro interface...

Is Imperial supposed to show up like all my other Vienna Instruments?  I am thinking not, because the Vienna Instruments player window does not list Vienna Imperial in the installed license database...

So, is Vienna Imperial supposed to load as a VSTi?  In that case, it is not showing up in my VST menu...  and I've tried using the VE Pro "Options>VST settings" menu to point VE Pro to the VST folder numerous times with no success...

Am I missing something, or is my system not working as it should?  Any help would be greatly appreciated...  I'm stumped!

  • Ah...  so after further experimenting, I figured out that Imperial should indeed be loaded as a VST...  but for some reason Vienna Ensemble was not seeing the VST version inside the default VST folder.  I finally got it to work by reinstalling Imperial and directing the installer to put the Imperial VST into a new folder, which I then added to VE Pro's VST settings.  Hope this info might help anyone in a similar situation...
