    Would someone tell me whether there is anything new and novel in the Epic Orchestra download that is not already available if one has Vienna Special Ed, Vienna Special Edition extended, both Vienna woodwinds collections (extended) and Vienna percussion (extended)?

    Are the Appassionata samples and brass samples significantly different from the Special Edition samples?

    I've downloaded EO, but I want to avoid redundant samples so as to preserve hard disk space.

    Hello Marko,

    the cornet is extra, and the Fanfare Trumpets. Some additional articulations in the Appassionata Strings.

    Here is the list of included instruments.

    Woudl it not make sense to have a download available for SE Extended/plus Users that only downloads to additional stuff? I also find it a bit odd to download 95% of the same and ballast my HD with redundant samples.

    well, then we´d also have to take all other possible combinations into account...

    And there are quite a few people who like the rather small Epic Orchestra available on their laptop.

    Ha! simple. Nothing about VSL is ever SIMPLE, but the super quality makes the learning curve worth it for sure. I'm wondering, specifically what new samples from Appassionata Strings are included in EPIC?
