  • HALLO VSL [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

  • Hi Beat,

I´ll stick to english, as this is the forum language here.

I understand that the installation process and copy protection can be hard. But copy protection is protecting both your and our investment.

To pull off something like VSL cannot be achieved without a guaranteed copy protection.

You have registered 2 of our VI Collections already and have upgraded to an Extended Library 4 months ago. The only thing that changed from then is that Syncrosoft is now called eLicenser.

You need to update the database of your software when you want to install a new product - otherwise the copy protection device won´t know anything about its existence....

This is mentioned in EVERY manual I have written and in all Video Tutorials about Installation and Registration (just updating these videos as we speak).

Unfortunately the manuals are often pushed aside, and I know that I´m doing the same when I´m installing software. But where else would I find information, when I´m stuck?

Concerning the structure of our website: Yes, it can and will be structured in a better way.For a quick orientation:

PRODUCTS: Our webshop that shows all features and information about our different products.

USER AREA: Find all corresponding downloads here, once you have purchase a product, It´s the same structure.

And before you waste too much energy on anger, please contact us if you´re having any troubles! We´ll be happy to help!

I will not comment your piracy affirmation, hope you don´t mind.

    Best,

    Paul

  • ...fair enough. Good luck with the new site then. Thanks for your argumentation, at least one gets heard here.

I'd say "at least" is a little bit underestimated. Buy some product from east west, try to install it and use it in your production. When you realize your problems with VSL where peanuts, write a post in the east west community like this one and you'll see for yourself ...

... if there is no complaints about a software, it's probably, because the company won't let anybody complain (that's called "moderation").
