Hello, As well as all my instrumental work, I've just started using VE Pro for my Song Production. I'm slightly confused as to what latency is involved here when playing Audio tracks/EXS Sampler Tracks in Logic (v8 on Mac G5 10.5) up against VE Pro tracks on a Slave machine.(Vista i7) I'm using some VSL instruments Plus Halion Broadway Big Band, but to get the tracks to sound very tight I have to have the VE pro buffer set to "NONE" (0 buffers). Should I build a delay into each VE Pro track?(a minus number) or is there something I'm missing here? (....like a brain). Cheers in Advance Paul

When using the VE Pro connector plugin, all latency will be compensated for by the host on playback. During recording - latency can of course not be compensated for, and the round-trip latency will be equal to the number of audio buffers set in the connector plugin. Also make sure that latency compensation is not turned off in Logic Preferences.
