  • I just want to say Thanks!

I'm a noob to VI. I've been playing with my magical Symphonic Cube for 3 or 4 days and I have only the highest admiration, for Herb for dreaming this up, Christian for making dreams real, Paul for making VI accessible through the helpful tutorials, Stefan for his help in getting me started in the right direction (and finally to Austin at ILIO for getting it in my hands!). I have been mesmerized just listening to the gorgeous solo violin sounds. The possibilities are endless, but manageable at the same time.

    Vielen Dank!

  • I just wanted to chime in here as well.  Thanks VSL for your whole product line and raising the bar on sampled instruments.

And for having one of the most responsive teams in the whole industry.

  • Just like you, I really can't praise VSL enough - and you should know I'm usually pretty critical, although not unfair in my critic, I would say. Anyway, the VI interface is awesome, intuitive and yet very powerful, and the instruments do sound fantastic. I've only gotten my hands on the complete Solo Strings and Standard Edition of the Special Edition bundle, and while the latter is somewhat limited in terms of articulations (how I would love some fast legatos for the orchestral strings and grace notes/tounge fluttering for the flutes!), I'm sure it will be sufficient for my needs for a while. I'm quite a noob when it comes to orchestral music, but VSL has really inspired me to learn how to compose and arrange for the orchestra. I feel the day I discovered VSL might be the first day on a long joyful journey into the world of the symphonic orchestra. :) I've already picked up tons of vaulable information by studying the tutorial files, both videos and midi-files. So, thanks a lot to everyone at the VSL-team, and happy new year to everyone! // Niklas

  • I just want to chime in as well on the superb quality of VSL.  I'm rather new to virtual orchestration, and I only have the Special Edition, VE Pro, and Vienna Suite, but every time I load it up, I'm in love with the sound.  Thanks, VSL, for making quality music available to the masses.  Keep up the great work!
