  • VSL Pro Crashes While Loading AU Instruments

    I am using the most recent BETA of VSL Pro (I can't install the non-beta, official version because it says "a newer version is already installed"). When I load up a new instance of Native Instruments Battery 3, for example, sometimes when I switch and load new patches, VSL crashes. This has happened five times in the last 20 minutes. I am running Logic 9.1 (32-bit) and Snow Leopard 10.6.2. I'm having this same problem when I try and run Logic 9.0.2. How can I revert back to the non-beta version of VSL Pro?

    use the uninstaller from the VE PRO program menu.

    recommended: reboot before after uninstalling to make sure no related processes are running and repair permissions on your system volume.

    Are you saying that Battery 3 also crashes in Logic? In that case it would be a problem for Native Instruments rather than VE Pro. Could you attach a crash report next time you experience a crash in VE Pro? This way we might be able to pinpoint your problem faster.

    I'll try uninstalling / reinstalling / permissions -- and send a crash report next time, if it happens.
