Here's a changelog from v4.0.4834 to v4.0.4881:
- MAC: Fixed AU's not syncing properly with master host
- MAC: Fixed crash when removing some AU's
- Fixed plugin windows appearing outside visible screen space when loading a project saved on different monitor configuration

Could anyone from VSL perhaps make a statement whether a full plugin automation of third party AU's such as Spectrasonics is on the roadmap for future developments.

HI Oceanviewstudio, there are many features on the roadmap. "Full plug-in automation" will be tricky and we have to find a a way how to give an overview for the automatable features of each used channel (also with multi-timbral plug-ins) - because a list with hundreds of automatable parameters doesn´t make sense in our eyes.We have not scheduled this yet. Thanks for the info Paul. ---- I imagine, not knowing for sure, but this could easily be one of the most desired features for many. ---- Even a basic automation of a subset of parameters would be very cool.
I can only speak for myself of course. But I refrain from switching entirely to snowleopard for now, may be after June, when Adobe CS5 emerges, which is important for me.
