  • I want to update to newest VEPRO build - use uninstaller in VEPRO folder first?

I tried the update a few days ago and had midi issues after the update.  I'd like to try again.  Perhaps use the 'uninstaller' utility in the VEPRO folder in 'Programs' and NOT the Windows 'add/remove' programs?

Thanks for your advice on this.

  • both are calling the same procedure ... usually on windows the add/remove program method is the prefered one.

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • Thanks Christian - very helpful.   I'll use W7's utility.

  • Christian - used W utility - uninstalled - rebooted - installed 4881 - rebooted - alas NO midi to VEPRO - 'ONLY'.   Can play Kontakt, other vsti's.

This is very frustrating.  Unless I hear back from you soon I'll have to go back AGAIN to the last build.

    (system is W7 - 64 bits)

  • Christian - just noticed a NEW feautre in 'preferences' - clicked on midi device and now all is good.   BUT it did say that feature was 'experimental' and that not preferred??   All I know is midi now routes all the way through. :)

  • Spoke too soon.   New preferences on midi causes 'omni' mode for my midi (plays all other channels.)  Dissappointing experience - rolling back to last build.
