  • MIR trial license expired - is it renewable somehow?

I've used up the 30 starts with MIR trial already, thus I have 0 starts left and cannot use MIR any longer.

Is it possible to renew the license and get 30 more starts?

    - Btw. I am impressed by MIR, to say the least.

The user interface is transparent and well-thought-out, and the space that MIR creates around instruments...it sounds like the instruments are playing in a real place, quite unlike when I use 'standard' convolution reverb and/or algorithm-based reverb.

    Well done, VSL!

    - Now, if only I could afford MIR right now!

  •  Hi Henrik,

    thanks for the nice feedback.

You can reload demo starts as often you like within a period of one month (depending on the date when you've registered the demo license).

Sorry, I have no eLicenser software in front of me, but you should find a function there which allows to reload demostarts.

  • Ah thanks, I found it, herb - there is a button in the eLicenser software called "Validate Usage Periods". When you click this, the computer thinks a little, then the remaining starts on MIR is back at 30/30. Great! I can also see that the license expires on April 2nd. That is good to know; I need to do all testing before this date (it will be some months before I can afford MIR, that's why).

    Best,

    Henrik
