  • [SOLVED] Installed Vienna Instruments 2.1 - build 5132 - Symphonic Cube not working

I installed Snow Leopard (10.6) on a new drive and migrated applications from the Leopard (10.5) Drive.

Digital Performer 6 survived the migration.

I also installed the Vienna Instruments 2.1 update to take advantage of 64-bit processing.

The list of installed instruments appears on the left side, but there aren't any choices on the right side.

    Any suggestions?

    Richard

P.S. I'm happy that I have a bootable drive of OS X 10/5 that I can access as needed.

    Hi,

make sure that your sample content is assigned correctly. The Directory Manager is the right tool for this.

    Here´s a short video.

  • It appears that the Directory Manager was damaged during the transition.

Can you send me a URL for the latest version, or do I have to use a DVD from the Symphonic Cube (which is several years old)?

    Hi,

it´s always best to use the latest eLicenser version and the latest VSL Software (the Directory Manager is included with the installation).

  • Downloaded and installed latest files.

This error message appears. Now what should I do?

    =====

Necessary files or information for the validity of the

Soft-eLicenser have been changed or corrupted.

This can be caused by exchanging single files, the

usage of cleanup and backup tools, or similar.

Soft-eLicenser 'SeL. Nr.######### - ##########' (left number off for obvious reasons)

and stored licenses have been disabled.

    hardware eLicensers are not affected!

Please contact your software vendors' support

    department for help and reactivation.

  • Hey "Sleeping in Seattle",

I am sorry to hear about this problem and it is obviously a broken Soft eLicenser which causes the trouble here.
Actually VSL doesn´t use any Soft e-licensers but unfortunately they can cause errors that affect our products too. I´ll get back to you via e-mail because I´d need the SeL number. Please check your mail.

    /Regards,
