  • 3rd Party Plugs/ Controllers & Automation-Lines THROUGH the Network-System possible???

    Hi everybody,

    I planning to build a network-computersystem with a IMAC / PC config.

1.) a big WINDOWS 7 PC (with a strong Processor and a lot of ram) with VE Pro, MIR, Omnisphere, Vienna Imperial and many other RAM EATERS

    2.) an IMac Quad 27 " with Logic 9 and Wavelab 7

Both Computers will communicate by NETWORK.

I know that it is possible for Vienna Ensemble to automate its own Buttons and Faders through the Network in Logic with automation-lines.

Now, therefore, there is the question:

Think - no Instrument I'm speaking of is pluged inside Logic ... but inside VE Pro ... so:

    a) Is it also possilbe to automate (with Lines) f. ex. the CutOff-Frequency, the LFO and other features of Omnisphere, Trillian and RMX by the network system so that one can illustrate an automation line for this in Logic?? If this is not possible NOW, is this planned or is already somebody working on a solution for that?

    b) Another QUESTION: What about Controllers like the AKAI MPD 32 - Plugt inside the IMAC.

Can I also control the Windows PC Plug-Ins like Omnisphere's Cutoff from the Mac?

    Greeting Lars

  • Hallo Leute,

I know you're very busy. Me too ;-) ... So ... As I said: YES or NO will be absolutely allright.

    Thank you  !
