  • a new twist?

I moved from one state to another.  Six months later, after house hunting and renovation I finally got to set up my composing rig.  Slight catch occurred.  Two boxes of music goodies did not make the trip.  No clues where they went.  Of course, all previous saved music discs, various bits and pieces of my gear, original application and library discs,  and of course, my Special Edition and Appassionata Strings libraries are now gone.  What's the twist?  I carried all my protection keys (4 of them) on my person, so I have them.  If this has happened to anyone else, send me a "me,too".  I'll drink a toast to you while I cry in my beer. BTW - are you sure Murphy is not a terrorist?

  • Sorry to hear that, Tony, but as far as I can tell from your message, you seem to have your Vienna Keys with you, haven't you? So, getting yourself up and running again is just a small nuisance, but no big drama - at least as far as your VSL instruments are concerned. Don't despair! ;-)

Get in contact with our support, I'm sure there will be an easy solution.

  • Hi Dietz

Thanks for the reply.  Yes I have the keys.  Just a lot paranoid since the losses occurred.  I am thinking I can copy the library instruments to a CD for back up.  I don't believe that all the information on the original disks will be available in the same way. Your advice to work with the support people looks like where to begin.  Again thanks,

    best

  • Hi Tony

    Nice to meet you here

You sent me a mail but I wasn't able to answer it. I still got my answer back. Do you have such a strict Firewall?

Please tell me here whether you got my answer or not.

    Thanks [;)]
