    Hi Since I've installed the latest VE version, my session doesn't load properly (Cubase 5, OSX 10.6.3). The VE window is staying on the "scanning license" thing, and don't load any instruments. Have try to download the latest version of Elicenser, without any result. Back to the 4017 version...

    This is rather a problem with eLCC or the Vienna Key.
    Is the USB-eLicenser connected to a USB Hub? Please connect it to a USB port on the computer itself instead. Especially when using a passive Hub with other devices connected as well you could be facing a power supply problem. If you cannot avoid using a Hub, an active one (with its own power supply) is generally recommended.

    Yes, I'm using 2 Hubs actually, and I really don't know how to avoid : this is crazy, all manufacturers recommend not using them, but when you have a midi interface, a USB keyboard, synth with usb functions, printer, 3 licenses keys... you really don't have choice ! Ok, I have made some tests, with and without hub. Well, it's not working... Same problem. Thanks Fred

    I have the exact same problem... The new version doesn't seem to work (Mac OS 10.6.3, DP  7.1.1). I'm not using a Hub...

    The problem seems related to Vienna Ensemble. If I try to start Vienna Ensemble in standalone mode, I get the "Scanning Licenses" message that stays there forever. 

    However, the Vienna Instruments standalone work fine... (although it's strange to get a message that asks me to enter my password to allow osascript to make changes...)

    Any idea how to fix this?
