  • Congratulations VSL!

I noticed on the home page that VSL is 10 years old.  Well, congratulations VSL on ten years of stellar products and services that have made dreams come true.  Here's to many more years of success.

  • Yes! Congratulations to both the whole VSL team for changing the world and the meaning of sampling, and to Jay Bacal for his work on the Bolero. Absolutely fantastic!!!

I am looking forward to your new Vienna Instruments Pro. Keep innovating, and keep things simple [:D]

    Cheers! Beers! No, champagne!

  • And a huge thank you from me for enabling me to realise some of my dreams and for having such fun on the way. Miracles can come true with VSL.

  • 10 years? Really? I remember listening to the opening section of the Blue Danube on a demo disc and being blown away by the realism - feels like it was only a few years ago.

    Happy 10th birthday VSL! [^]

  • I would like to congratulate VSL and all the team just like everyone else. Ten years of great, outstanding achievements, and complete revolutions in the world of orchestral sampling technology. I truly feel honoured to be a VSL user for last 3 years. Keep up the brilliant work!

😊 ... I still do remember this first mix (The Blue Danube Waltz opening theme), and I'm sure that we did that quite a bit less than 10 years ago. It was 10 years ago when we started recording samples, AFAIR.

  • wow - that was the first mix?   I remember that, and thinking at the time -  I must have this - as soon as I heard the violin tremolo with the horn legato.  It's true that VSL is more than a successful commercial product. It has also enabled the realization of music that would never have been heard otherwise, and the company's focus on musical artistry is a great inspiration.

What a relief - I'm not losing my marbles as fast as it seems then. [<:o)]

Congradulations?  What kind of a BOOB misspells congratulations?  Oh, what a minute!  I'm the boob.  And it only took me 5 days to figure it out which makes me an even bigger boob.  Sorry about that. Let me fix it
