    I think this should be added to a future version ASAP: If I open a project (in Logic) that has instances of VEP that are connected to another machine than the local one, the project will take forever to open, if the machine is not running. There IS a timeout, but it is very long (several minutes it seems). Why not have it as a user setting or set at maybe 10-20 secs? Establishing a connection should usually be instant, so I can't see why it lets that much time go by.

    We are aware of this unfortunate bug. A server communication rewrite is in the making to resolve this.

    I'm glad to report that the connection timeout problem has been fixed for the next update.
