    Hi

    I'm wondering if it is possible to use VE Pro just for FX plugins, without loading up instruments?  In other words, can you route audio from the main computer (PPC G5 in this case) into the slave computer (Macbook Pro) and process the audio with plugins within the VE Pro mixer?  I'm trying to find a way of using Intel only plugins whilst holding onto my dear G5!  I've already tried the VE Pro demo briefly for instruments and am thoroughly impressed, but never had chance to try out the audio only scenario before the demo expired.

    Any help would be much appreciated,

    Hello David,

    you cannot route audio from your sequencer to Vienna Ensemble PRO at this point. I know that this is a feature that´s on our to-do-list, but I can´t tell you exactly when it will be available.
