VEP instance doesn't connect properly

I have a really annoying problem.

I have 4 instances of VEP on a slave PC, connected through Logic. However, every time I load the project, one of the instances isn't connected. On the slave machine, it says it is connected to the Mac Pro, but on the Logic side, it isn't. And I can't simply choose to connect it, because it already thinks it is connected. So I have to "Force Disconnect" on the slave PC, then connect it in Logic, which is pretty annoying to do each time I open a project.

I already tried deleting the instance on the slave machine, added a new one, connected that, saved both the new metaframe on the slave and the project in Logic, but it doesn't help.

Any solution?

I seem to have found a working solution

It looks like either a Logic og Vienna bug; I had the VEP slave instances loaded on instrument slots 8, 9, 10 and 12, with Omnisphere being on slot 11. I moved VEP to slot 11 and Omnisphere to an even later slot (15) and now it seems to work. Apparently VEP didn't like Omnisphere being "between" two of its instances.
