  • [SOLVED] VE Pro Slave vs Native conflicts

I run VE Pro native with Logic on my Mac. I also run a second machine, a PC, with VE Pro as well. Sometimes, when I load a session, if my network places the PC at 192.168.1.101 instead of .100, VE Pro will attempt to load all the slave instances on my native Mac. I then have to disconnect my VE Pro plugs inside Logic, exit the instances on the Mac, and then reconnect with the VE Pro server and select the instances as they exist on my PC. why is this happening?

  • The best way to avoid this is to setup static IP's for the systems on your network. The VE Pro Server Interface plugin identifies slaves from their IP address. So when you save a master host session when connected to 192.168.1.100 and then load that session afterwards, the plugin will connect to that same IP.

  • thanks Karel... I am implementing that now.
