  • Epic Orchestra Demo MIDI file corrupt

So Im just delving into VE Pro, and I thought what better way to learn than to load the Epic Orchestra Demo that came with the software into my DAW. In the folder are three files, a MIDI file, MP3, and VEPro frame. The MP3 and VE file work fine, but the MIDI file won't open or load (not into my daw, or even with general midi playback on my computer.) I use Windows 7 64bit. Does anyone have a version of this MIDI file (Epic_Orchestra.mid) that works for them on Windows 7 64bit they could send me? It would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello jackpheah,

seems like there was a glitch indeed with the VE PRO DVD, sorry about that. The files for the downloadable Epic Orchestra are of course OK.

As you have purchased the boxed version (and donĀ“t have access to the downloadable Epic Orchestra), I have just sent the files via mail to your registered email address.

    Best,

  • Hi Paul, I noticed that the MIDI file (Epic_Orchestra.mid) from the downloadable area doesn't match the MP3. There's a cornet passage in the last two measures of the MP3 which doesn't appear in the MIDI. Might there be an updated MIDI? Best regards, Ken

  • I have found that all of the large (500Mb)files on the Epic Orchestra downloadable area are corrupt by the time they finish. I have been trying all night with a good internet connection, and 3 different browsers. Could be their server tho and not the actual files.

  • Can we get some support on this?? I canĀ“t open the MIDI file in cubase4.
