     Hi.

          First I am not a pianist and uncomfortable with fully weighted hammer action Kb.! but as a recommendation I am looking to buy the best 88key midi keyboard contrloller ( for VSL and others )  any advice ?

    Well, if you're "not a pianist" why bother with an 88key keyboard.  You don't really need an 88key keyboard to work with VSL.  You could get away with just a two octave keyboard.  I'd say get something that you are comfortable with that fits in your budget.

    Also, do a search on the forum here as this has been discussed before.  In fact, you might even find one of my old posts and realize that I'm contradicting myself[:$] but I'm a pianist so I do feel more comfortable using a weighted 88key keyboard especially when I'm improvising ideas.
