  • Network connection

Hello, I have the computers with VEPRO connected to a Gigabyte switch and the switch connected to a 10/100 router with wireless and the router to the cable modem. The thing is because the router assign the IPs the speed between the VEPRO computers are downgraded to 10/100? Most of the time the system works well but i sometimes have some cracks in the sound but maybe is the computer load and not the network so I like to be sure. Thanks! Fernando

  • Connect the two computers together directly with no switches/routers.  Manually assign IP Address information.  That will tell you if it's "network" or "computer load".

Also, if you look at the bottom right corner of VE Pro you can see the CPU load/utilization percentage.  Each VE Pro window has it's own so be sure you're adding up the combination of all of them or go into task manager and watch the CPU % while playing back during problem areas.
