  • Re-activated USB keys lost settings.

I've been trying out Vienna ensemble for a couple of weeks and I'm really finding it useful. It's a great piece of software. I wanted to try running a 64 bit server on my master machine and a 32 bit server on my slave. So I bought two keys and downloaded two demos registered to different users. When the slave USB keys timed out of their 30 launches I re-activated both keys using master computer. When i took the USB back to the slave the elicenser wouldn't let VE PRo launch. So i then used the salve to re-authorise the key and eventually i managed to get them both re-authorised and launched them both on their respective computers. When I opened a logic song that I had recorded a few days earlier all of the instances in both servers had disappeared? very annoying. Where did they go? I thought the settings were saved in the logic song? Where are they saved? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Dear Daron,

please make sure to have the current version of eLCC installed on both of your computers. Then "clean up the eLicenser memory" and "update the eLicenser license database" in eLCC (-> eLCC menu bar -> Support) while the key is connected.

    Does that help?

    /Regards,
