    I'm trying out VE Pro for the first time. Latest version as of today. Main computer (Mac Pro) is running DP7, then the VEP plug-in. Second computer is running VEP Server 64-bit. It's also a Mac Pro, connected to the first one via a D-Link Ethernet Gigabit Switch. I opened only one instrument (Kontakt 4.1) and loaded one patch into it. I successfully sent MIDI from the main computer to the second computer and got audio piped back. But I'm getting audio dropouts, once every several seconds. As I'm looking at the screen, on the second computer, exactly when the dropouts occur, the CPU usage drops to 0%, then it comes back. I tried using different buffer sizes, but that made no difference. I'm brand new to the VE Pro world. Does anyone have any suggestions for things I can try to make this work better? The audio is very clean, the latency is great (unnoticeable)...it's just these pesky dropouts every several seconds!

    Hello ddas,

    what happens when you switch to "built in Audio" on your setup? Can you play back from your slave computer(s) directly (locally) without problems? If yes, please check your network -> do both computers have a gigabit networkcard? Which audio hardware/drivers do you have?
