    Hello everybody

    Blue Sky has recently released the new generation of the Exo monitor system. Is anybody already using them or heard them in a store? Since the older Blue Sky products were highly rated I'd like to know if the new generation is on par with the old one

    I'm known as a big fan of BlueSky monitors, but I have to say that I know at least two sets of original Exos that were broken more often than they were running :-/ ... the same is true for the bigger BlueSky One - they seem to have problems with the tweeter by design.

    That said, I'm _very_ happy with my MediaDesk 5.1 setup, which I use all the time (in fact at this very moment), and chances are that the hardware of the Exo2 is built more sturdy than the original design. Just make sure that you have easy access to any warranty solutions.

    Apart from that, I think that BlueSky are amongst the best sounding monitors in their respective price ranges.

    Have to agree with Dietz's first paragraph - I love my original Exo (great sound/mix) but yes, they broke. :(

    Didn't even know a V2 is being released. The official website states they mainly changed the outer appearance. Hm... There's a new MediaDesk 5.1 coming as well.
