    The Vienna Pro Ensemble is setup in the slave machine as 32 midi ports. however in pro tools 8 le only 8 ports with 16 midi channels each are visible someone please help me in figuring out how to get 32 ports in Pro tools so that with one instance several instruments can be played on different tracks. The work around at the moment is to use different midi channels.. but that is not very smart. Thanks

    The preferences in the VE Pro Server apply to both the plugin and the server on the same system. So all you need to do is start the VE Pro Server on your Pro Tools system and change the MIDI ports preference there and it will apply to both the VE Pro Server and the VE Pro Server Interface plugin on that system.
