Hi

I am in the process of purchasing VI Strings Complete and WoodWinds I & II (Full). And I purchased Download Trumpet 2 and Triple Horn, recently.

I would like to purchase Opus I & II, Kontakt version, to fill in the gaps in my Vienna Symphonic Collections for Brass and percussion.

The reason I would like to go with Opus I & II Kontakt rather than SE orchestra is that from reading the stats it appears that Opus I & II are deeper than SE (More articulations and more velocity layers). Plus it probably be gotten at bargain price at late this date.

Is it possible to purchase Opus I & II for Kontakt anywhere?

Thanks

Hi Composer123,

I'm afraid that Opus 1 and 2 are part of our discontinued sample libraries which we stopped selling about three years ago. I doubt that you will find a copy for sale anywhere, sorry to say.

Best wishes,

Stefan

Hi again,

Just for the records: we don't allow license resales of Opus 1 and 2 products, so please don't look for second hand copies.

The same is true for any of our legacy sample libraries, such as First Edition, Pro Edition and Horizon Series.

Hi Stefan,

I recently posted a question on behalf of my piano teacher, who has a copy of Opus I he got from a student.  It has never been registered, and he came upon as a gift from the student who, for some reason, never used it.  Can he register and use this copy of Opus I?  I have the Symphonic Cube, and Opus was before my time.  But I'd like to help him out.  He's not at all familiar with VSL, but he's a fantastic player, and would like to use Opus on his live gigs.

  Thanks for your time!

      All Best,  Tom Miller

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your detailed message.

If the product has never been registered, your piano teacher will be able to use it without any problem. :)

He will have to register the serial number here, after having created a user account of course.

I hope that helps!

Best, Stefan
