  • VE PRO Audio Input Channels

    I wonder if anyone can advise or help in this query: I have a VE pro system with host and two slave all running beautifully under W7 x64bit; I now want to host FX - as 32bit Altiverb in VE pro but running on the host PC; The plan was to route audio into VE pro from Sonar than, then route the FX output from VE pro back into Sonar; The idea is to get a around stubborn 32bit plugin's that won't work in 64bit Sonar; Is this doable? If so, are there any restrictions. Thanks for any help in advance;

  • You can only route audio into the standalone application. I suggest that you use J-Bridge for Altiverb in Sonar.

  • Thanks for the reply - i've tried J-bridge, i don't get on with this tool as it keeps forgetting the 'bridged' setting; I have to setup Altiverb every time i load my project; Are you suggesting that if i run the standalone VE pro along side Sonar - i can route audio out of Sonar and into VE pro - then from VE pro back into Sonar; Now that would be awesome if it was possible, please advise.

  • You can do this, providing that you have a loopback facility with your soundcard.

  • Thanks for the advice - unfortunately my soundcard doesn't have this feature; I guess i'll have to wait until VSL add FX support to VE Pro;
