Hey,
I've just downloaded the VE Pro demo and it seems to be running fine. Does the demo come with any instruments? If so I cannot find them, do I have to download them seperately and if so does anyone know where I would download them from? There is a link where I downloaded the demo that says find the epic orchestra files here, but when I follow it there are no files to download.
I would use my own virtual instruments but they're all currently on a harddrive that is formatted for mac os and I'm running VE Pro on my PC (with the aim of eventually making my mac the master and PC the slave computer, but I want to have a quick play around with the software before I either re-format my hard drive or install my instruments onto my PC)
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Welcome Jonathan, Thanks for your feedback! Epic Orchestra is only included if you purchase VE PRO. For the demo license, "only" the software works. Best, Paul Paul Kopf

Hi again,
I'm just trying to open a VSTI channel on the demo of ve pro. I've installed East Wests Voices of Passion (VOP) onto my PC since it's the smallest library I have and I'm pretty sure I've updated all my Play correctly but I can't seem to open it in VE pro!
When I click on new VSTI track nothing happens and VOP appears in the directory manager and the folder is selected in the VST settings, am I doing something wrong?

Hello J, I´d make absolutely sure that you are using the latest PLAY version, because this is the only version that will work. Another question: Why would VOP be assigned in the Directory Manager? You only need to assign your Vienna Instruments Sample Content there, all other software works just like it would in any other host. Which folder is selected in the VST settings? Best, Paul Paul Kopf

Hi Paul,
I'm re-installing the latest play and to answer your question I'm not even sure now VOP ended up in the directory manager I just opened it at one point and it was there! I must have done it by mistake at some point. For the VST settings should I have the folder VOP library selected, or VOP instruments and VOP samples or the folders within instruments and samples?

Hi Jonthan, glad that the first step is taken. To connect 2 computers, you need a working GigaBit Ethernet connection. Then, open the VE PRO Server on the slave, instantiate VE PRO as a plug-in in your sequencer on the master computer. Choose the IP of your slave computer and click "Connect"... Best, Paul Paul Kopf
