I'm just about to add a 4th machine to my Vienna network. I'm not quite sure I understand how VE works. The info page suggests that the three licenses I have will enable me to run it on 4 machines. Does that mean that no license is needed to run the server end of it? If so, and I put my three licenses on the Vienna keys in my slave machines, does that mean I can't run VE locally on my DAW machine without transfering a license? There will be times when I want to turn on just one machine, and will want to run VE so that I can combine 32 bit and 64 bit plugins, but I don't particularly want to be moving dongles around. Is there no way to simply purchase a 4th license?

I suggest that you contact support and see if they can do anything about selling you another licence. DG

Hello Pingu, let me answer your questions in detail: Pingu wrote:Does that mean that no license is needed to run the server end of it? Yes. Pingu wrote:If so, and I put my three licenses on the Vienna keys in my slave machines, does that mean I can't run VE locally on my DAW machine without transfering a license? Yes, that´s also correct. Pingu wrote:Is there no way to simply purchase a 4th license? VE PRO is sold in packages of 3 licenses by design. We do not sell separate licenses, sorry to say. Best, Paul
