HI,

Ive noticed that using 64bit server in the Ve Pro instance GUI when I clear a patch in Omnisphere or Stylus RMX I get the following prompt from Ve Pro 'Caution' 'Clear Patch?' etc,..I click 'ok' then if I go to save the Ve Pro project I get a pop up saying 'COULD NOT FIND LICENSE FOR VE PRO.PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR VIENNA KEY IS CONNECTED...AND YOU HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF CONTRL CENTRE INSTALLED, THEN RESTART...ETC'
if I close and restart server I can open and save projects as normal but if I clear a patch it happens again and again?

This only happens in Omnisphere and Stylus using Ve Pro 64 bit server and instance so Im not sure where the fault lies, any ideas?

Dean.

I've tried to reproduce this without success unfortunately. Possibly a specific problem with the Spectrasonics plugins somehow?

Hi Karel,

could be,this only happens when I delete a patch in Omnisphere and Stylus and get a 'caution' prompt from VE Pro,then VE Pro says to check if Key is installed correctly,..cant find license.
Is there anyway to clear a patch in Omnisphere/Stylus without getting the Ve Pro 'Caution'promt?

thanks,
Dean.

Yes, this happens here as well with Omnisphere and Stylus RMX.

Possibly the Spectrasonics plugins interfere with the vsldaemon in some strange way. I see no other valid reason for such behavior. You'll be glad to know that the next update of VE Pro will not rely on the vsldaemon any longer, so hopefully that will avoid the Spectrasonics bug.

The additional benefit will be faster startup times and increased reliability in terms of eLicenser communication.
