    Hi Guys, i've tried to update VE Pro on a windows 7, x64 PC to build 6776 from build 5436 - i've hit major issues: I installed build 6776 over 5436 - i think this should be OK ... anyway, near the end of install process i get dialog: "elicenser control error: "Unknown exception. Process execution failed" - after OK this dialog - it pops up again. Then another dialog:"Could not find license for Vienna Ensemble Pro. Please make sure that your Vienna key is connected"; Can you please advise on how to fix these issues - as VE Pro is now totally broken; Does elicenser need update as well? Do i need a new activation code? Thanks for your help in advance; Ken

    Same problem on OSX 10.6.4. Please tell us a fix, VE Pro now doesn't work at all!

     Are you using the latest eLicencer?

    Ok, updating to the latest eLicenser solves this. But beware: It broke my iLok installation! I had to reinstall the iLok drivers, too to make it work again. I have the impression that the new version uses more resources. VE Pro (with identical instances loaded) uses about 15% idle, while before it used about 12% idle.

    Hey DG - do i need to un-install elicenser - then install updated elicenser? Do i then install update VE Pro? What happens to the activation codes - do i need new ones? (I really can't afford down time hence the reason for putting off the update for so long;) Ken

    I would just install the eLicencer over the top of the old one. In any case it won't do anything to the licences on the dongle. Then install VE Pro.
