Hi , I would like to ask the experienced users of VSL which library they consider the best to invest in with the most effective future flexibility and investment protection, I am not a VSL user (East West user) - oh, and course, the finest sounds. Thanks in advance Bret

    Bret,

If you look at a sound library as an investment, you will probably be disappointed, as it's as good as guaranteed that something will come out at some point in the future that will make your investment worthless.

If you buy what you need to do your work, right now, you will probably get some useful life out of it.

If your plans include reselling the licenses, you will probably be disappointed.

Right now, the VSL library with VI Pro is the state of the art. But the developers are always trying to outdo each other...

The VSL developers are quite active, and there are frequent upgrades and new versions -- this says a lot... "will it work" going forward? Probably. Can you say that about all software?

Are you looking at the complete "dvd libraries" ?
