With the new VI-Pro, is it possible to have Auto-Divisi? Say: Play one note: VI-14. Play two notes: VI-6.

I'm surprised that with all the tiddy-itty-bitty-gritty infinitesimally Angstromian little things people have already been asking for inclusion in future VI Pro updates, nobody has asked for something so important and musical yet! Including myself!!

If you can't notate/MIDI it yourself, it's NOT your music!

the system should be smarter with auto-divisi than just divide when played 2 notes... because the section can also play double stops, you don't want divisi all the time...

but in general the implementation of divisi would be not bad ;;)

LASS introduced a whole system for this recently.  It works fantastic and is very smart and flexible, allowing easy switching between auto split and double stops.  i assume the other sample companies are taking a close look and at least some are working on their own version.
