    I succesfully downloaded the first of the nine Roompack bin. files from the site, but every other attemt fails and reads:

    bertwelsh/Downloads/ViennaMIR_RoomPack-WIN-1.0-r161-2.bin.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

    Any suggestions?

    Sorry to hear that, Rob. In principle it should work, as I'm downloading that very file at the moment I'm writing this.

    Did you already try to use another browser / another computer / a different Internet access point to single out the reason for your problem?

    Try emptying the cache of your browser just before you download. I think this worked for me.

    Thanks for both of your  input. I emptied the cache, tried the download on 3 different internet browsers and on a pc and a Mac. The most I am getting is an extremely low download where the kb per sec. rate keeps lowering as it proceeds, and 5 hour remaining download time just for one file. Other downloaded files (from other sites) are working fine, so it really doesn't seem to be an internet problem. Very strange

    I found that I had to reboot the computer several times along the way, and with that was able to download the files.

    Very strange ... it took me only a few minutes to download one BIN-file yesterday. :-/ ... but at least it's good to hear that it worked our finally. Thanks for your patience!
