Dear Vienna There is no dedicated sus_vib patch in Flute 2, only a progressive vibrato patch - Yet under ressources I find the seperate velocity layers of sus_vibrato, so the samples seems to be present. How come there is no layered patch then?

Hi Sapkiller, the vibrato sustains are probably used in the legato-sus variations. Best, Paul

Hi Paul Yes, that is probably it - but it would be nice to have a separate patch, like in the other instruments Is there anyway I can combine the 3 layers then into a seperate patch?

Hi, no there isn´t, sorry to say. But there are many more articulations in the Download Instruments, e.g., Flute 2. And there´s a cool upgrade path from the Special Edition (see "YOUR PRICE"). Best, Paul

Ah ok, just had another look. "Progressive Vibrato" simply was the better description for this patch. The flute player generally had recorded a non-vibrato and a vibrato sustain, and her way to play a sustained vibrato was generally more like a progressive vibrato. Best, Paul

oh - I see, so the samples in Ressources are in fact the same as the ones used in the Sus_Progr_Vib patch. The reason I ask is that I am building new presets for the VI Pro and is trying to align the different flutes to the same basic structure, and Flute 1 has both a Sus_Vib, a Sus_Vib_Progr and a Non-Vib patch, so it woulld be nice to have this for the Flute 2 too. thx
Best regards Bjarne
