Dear Vienna After the release of the VI Pro it was mentioned that a MIR update would be available "in a couple of days" that would reckonize the VI Pro dll. I therefore refrained from doing the renaming workaround for VI Pro - but is there coming a MIR update (very) shortly or is it going to be delayed?
Best regards Bjarne

Has anyone experienced that MIR 1.2 doesn't start up after updating? Because I have and it's funny way how it doesn't start - it says it can't find my license key, although it's perfectly present...

No problems here, everything works fine after the update. Do you have trouble with other licenses on the same e-licenser key?

i had that problem some weeks ago with VI Pro. try installing the newest elicenser from http://www.elicenser.net/

That's correct. Because of the implementation of VI PRO into MIR 1.2 the newest elicenser version is needed. best Herb

Herb, when I install 1.2 it says in the set up MIR1.1 Beta. Should I be concerned?

Dear all, as it looks we were so eager to get MIR 1.2 on the server that you were really downloading the latest software build of the beta-testing cycle, which was still named "1.1" . The only difference to the actual release version is that the version number will be changed to 1.2, and that manual included in the installer will also be the updated one. So apart from this (admittedly pretty obvious) cosmetic error the to builds will be identical. Sorry for the confusion ...

I've already had trouble trying to install. It wanted to overwrite the existing installation! - should I delete MIR 1.1 before installing 1.2?

Overwriting the existing installation is actually what it's supposed to do. 1.2 is fully compatible with 1.1. The installer takes care for all necessary steps - manual input is only needed when you want to change the default paths. If you want to keep MIR 1.1 for one reason or the other, but don't want to create a second folder for it, just rename "Vienna MIR.exe" to something different, like "Vienna MIR.exe.1.1". That way you can re-activate the old version in case you really need it (which is unlikely). Kind regards,
