What is the correct procedure to undertake for when Vienna Ensemble Pro crashes? (In terms of I now have my sequence sitting open on my DP / sequencer machine, but I've lost the 32 bit metaframe (with multiple instances within it) on the VEPro machine. What to do next for a smooth recovery?

The latest manual clearly spells out how to handle a sequencer crash. But what about when it's VEPro that crashes instead? I'm not sure what to do in terms of what is saved or not in the sequencer if I restart everything, or if there is a best way to handle it. Currently my sequence probably contains the VEPro info because it has been saved during working on it. But now VEPro has crashed, if I close or save the sequence will the VEPro information be lost? Just not sure what to do as I'm still wrapping my head around the connection between the two machines and what is saved and not saved when EITHER machine performs a save!
