  • De-couple ALL?

    Hi,

Is there a way to quickly "DECOUPLE ALL"?

For those of us using AU and thus having to have multiple instances, it'd be great if we could hit one button to de-couple all, and un-decouple all when needed instead of having to click through each and every one every time.

  • It's noted for a future update.

  • Great idea :)  Nice workflow improvement.

what would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Hit the ball 490 yards with my driver across a large water hole on the course.... on hole number 13 [:D]

  • And while we're at it just have a button added to the interface for:

"Fix any and all other studio issues".

I know Vienna can do this, I have full confidence in them.

    Thank you!

  • It's added for the next update.

  • 'fix it button' would be nice but I'd really go for 'hooky' theme for next 20 projects - make is a key shortcut cause I don't want to hassle with hitting a bunch of keystrokes.[:P]

  • I don't want to piggyback on here - but I think this particular request adds fuel to a bigger feature request of having a VE Pro "Manager" interface - whether it's an additional application or something else, running on the sequencer machine.

An en-mass couple/decouple feature goes along with possibly having the ability to have a compact heads-up display of all VE Server plugins connection status without having to have all VE Server plugins visually open on the screen (for some of us, it numbers in the double-digits and well beyond).

    How about different indicators for:
    - disconnected
    - connected and remote instance loading in progress
    - connected and remote loading complete (ready)
    - connected but dialog/error on-screen on remote VE connection (such as Kontakt "missing samples dialog" or VE's infamous "Plug In Not Found" dialogs that all halt the progress of a template loading)

Also Adding the ability also to connect/disconnect all instances etc. would be great. Lots of potential.

  • def. + 1. Sounds good.

  • Consolidated View mode!

A Tab like system to switch between all the VePro instance woulb be cool to. Maybe a master layer where you can decouple all, optimize all, load presets, create new Tab/VePro instance. Why not a compact view of every tracks where you can doubleclick to get in the instrument you want? I know I ask a lot, but in long term it would be cool!

In Logic, there's no midi ports, so max 16 channels. It makes to many different windows in big projects.
