  • How do I use VSL on linux Ubuntu 10.10?

    Hi!

How do I install my expensive package on the free Operating System Ubuntu 10.10. I love it and it's free sequencers and VST support . They have all the functions I need, without a price tag. I just need to learn how to install on that platform.

If it's not possible. Please make it possible as soon as possible. This is the platform of the future, no questions about it. (They're even trying to reverse engineer gigastudio for us who invested €10.000 on your expensive 1st edition that are now stranded.)

    Sincerely.

  • I have been coding The Open Octave Project under linux. I have the full old Orchestral cube mapped out and easily accessible in our custom open source midi sequencer.

    Check it out:

  • This sounds interesting. I currently can run Reaper via Wine, but the main problem preventing me using the VSL libraries is trying to get the syncrosoft licence software to run (surprise, surprise!!!!!). The installation via Wine asks for Mono (Windows version), but even with that installed - no joy! If I could crack that problem, this project could well be worth a go. (BTW I'm currently running Fedora 14)
