  • [SOLVED] Vienna Instruments missing from project

Im posting here because originally I bought VE Pro.  But I am using the Vienna Instruments plug in to use the instruments that I got with VE Pro.

I've used the legato Cornet in a project.  Now that I need to make stems of the project, the Cornet is not available any more.  No instruments show up on the right side of the plug-in.  On the left side it shows, "The following licenses are installed."  And there are a bunch of things in the list.  I can't click anything on the left side to get it to appear on the right side.

The right side just says (empty preset).

I probably just dont' know basic operation but the cornet was already in this project and now it is gone.

How can I get it back?

    Thanks,

In a hurry. Project is due.

  • In the meantime, I decided to download the latest Vienna player.  Upon startup, Logic gave me this message, "Application "VSL" has caused the following error: Unknown exception caught.  Process execution failed.  Options:  Click Ok to abort.

    Double help!

    Hi rJames,

    Please update your eLCC software.

If that doesn´t help, take a look at the eLicenser Control Center and check whether you have downloaded your licenses.

    Paul

    Another thought:

Open the "Directory Manager" from your "Vienna Ensemble PRO" folder, remove all folders and add the "Epic Orchestra" sample content again by drag and drop.

Here is a video on "How to use the Directory Manager".

  • It says that my samples are in a folder called V50standard.  I'll bet that I erased that folder when I was cleaning disc space.

Too bad the folder wasn't called VSL instruments or something like that.  I hope it is easy to reinstall those instruments.  Will I find them on a disc somewhere or was this a download lib?  I know I have a hardware key but don't remember if I got a disc or downloaded.

    I'll look, please inform.

    Thanks,

    Ron

  • I don't find any software boxes.  Can you direct me to a download, please?

    Thanks,

    Ron

  • I do find, in my downloads folder, these installers.  Vienna Instruments.pkg, Vienna Ensemble Pro.pkg, Vienna Ensemble Pro-1.pkg, Vienna Ensemble Pro-2.pkg, Vienna Ensemble Pro-3.pkg

Which one will give me only my instruments back?

    Thanks,

    Ron

  • I've also just found a folder called, V50standard.  But it has little in it.  Epic_Orchestra_standard-files.txt      and      package.info

  • Also found this    setup-Epic-Orchestra_07.cab
