    Hi,

Just did a small composition for demo purposes. I'm still learning how to use the VI properly, so I'd appreciate any comments and tips on programming, mixing, post prod details, etc!

The piece is called Winter Tales and uses the SE extended library.

    Thanks for your time!

  • This is a wonderful piece. It is very playful throughout. As much as I like dry mixes, I think you might make this wetter. Some of the samples cut off quickly and I would expect a a little decay. This is a minor quibble on my part. This is a very playful piece. I love the transitions.

  • It's a beauty! I like it so much that I wish I had composed it [;)]

I agree that it could benefit from a little more reverberation.

  •  I agree with the other comments, it's a real nice composition, interesting all the way.

In my opinion, the performance would be better if you were a little more careful with crescendos and changes in dynamics. Contrast is good and you use it in a creative way. But occasionally, the changes are too rough. Not the composition, but performance.

    A truly professional work!

    Best, Pekay
