    Hello

I'm looking for someone who could 'sample-ize' (that word's my invention) some of my scores.  I've dabbled around with VSL for years but can never produce demos like some of you chaps.

I have just one score at the moment, very simple orchestral stuff, and if it works then there will be more.  The music will be fully scored in Sibelius and I'd like high quality demos in 24bit, 48khz wav's or aiff's.

If this takes your fancy then please drop me a line: james at mcwilliam.co.uk and let me know a rough idea of prices and timeline.  Please also direct me towards some examples of your work.

The scores will be about 1m30s long and for full orch with no synths etc.

    Cheers

    James

  • pure romantic sound: 700€ (all include with additional changing wishes)

classic style costs more, as the samples have to be "corrupted" n sometimes every note ( I suppose we talk about more then 1000 mesures and a midi export, but hand typed exact volum curves and patches, "live"-recording noises - of e.g. concerthouse public - included)

  • Thanks for the email you sent to me.The vsl patches are regarding vibrato and consistence in direction romantic orchestra.Today in a decent develloped manner to play classic ( like Haydn, Mozart etc.) demands an onther kind of taste. But the samples are so fantastic, that with some programming details the sound style can be changed.Very much details in fact, from the patch design until volume curves according to oscilate behavior in different kinds to interpret a style. That needs time.

In a soundworld of the romantic the patches are already very good, so the problem is "only" mixing, dynamics etc.

I have made one orchestra piece of 20 min. for my meisterklasse in the Hochschule quite a time ago, some "fake" Mozarts, but I need an email to send the examples (maximilianewert@yahoo.fr).

Due to Ircam solo Instruments some contemporary (only 100 year old) articulation are available. There are no performance tools, exept dynamic layers.
