  • Manual sample length

In the SE manual the length of each sample is indicated. Is the length and the loop indications the same as in Orchestral strings or Brass DVD's?

I'm programming first over finale score and afterwords "shaping" them in Logic. When I was programming only with SE it was very helpfull to know the original length.I know that seems very unnecessary to playing programmers, but it is helpfull for someone who does acribic detailed programming.

    I run a i7 2.8 iMac

  • I tried the patches in Logic and mesured them.I used MM=60 to have a second per quaternote asa time reference.

Because I have "only" the orchestralo strings one, I used the Violins.

    Here my results:

    glissando on one string:

    1s for major econd

    2s for minor third

    3s for fifth

the octave glissando seems to be adapted to the octave-glissando patch:

    octave 3s

    scale runs:

scales over one octave in major, minor or spiccato tonical (tonal means to me only a tone as a center, like some Bartok scales etc.)

     1,5s

    xhromatic scale per octave:

    2s

    whole tone scala per octave:

    0,5s

    Has anybody different results ?
