  • An Acceptable Bell Tree Or Replacement...

    Hi,

I need some help finding some Bell Tree samples. VSL Libraries don't have them.

Does anyone know where I can get them. Or even better... What percussion bell

instrument can I replace them with that will be acceptable in an orchestration.

    Best Regards,

    Riggs

  • There are two Bell tree samples in the VSL Percussion. Look under Bells.....

  • DG...

Found them... Don't know how I could have missed them.

    Many Thanks,

    Riggs

  • No Problem. There are so many things to choose from, it's easy to overlook something.

  • Maybe I overlooked some instruments as well.

Not in the library, but in the instruments desciption here on the website. "Elements" seem not to be there (Glass, Verro/Lithophon etc).

By the way, are there any plans to inlude a small picture of the instrument actually in use inside the Vienna Instruments Player ?

For EQ plugins there always have been discussion pro and contra fancy graphics especially when it comes to vintage equipment emulations ("Mixing&judging by ear not by optics")

But for VSL I think it could really be helpful since we work with several instances of the same VST and when scrolling from one VI to another, the human eye would appreciate some differences between the otherwise identical VSTs, leading to a smoother workflow.

  • Oh VSL! , how I and my companions would adore a library of Chinese & Japanese instruments...
