    Here is my latest fun with Dimension Brass - Prince of Denmark's march by Jeremiah Clarke in an arrangement I did (from memory - I don't have the sheet music but I think this is close) using the 4 trumpets, 4 horns, 4 trombones (no tuba/bass tbn as I was trying for a somewhat Baroque feel). This has a lot of use of the unison vs. divisi in the three ensembles.

    One thing about this Dimension approach that is interesting and  unique - the instruments are recorded simultaneously as ensemble and solo.  That is weird and amazing!     And what it does is create variations in the individual players that are exactly like a live ensemble's variations.  I definitely used that on this mix, since I auditioned the 1st, second, third and fourth players on a few lines to find out who played it best.  And switched them.   At other times, the ensemble was all together.  However, for those I recorded the same lines multiple times with separate performance trills.  But this Dimension approach is perfect for lines that sometimes combine, and other times divide.
